Its showtime with Cher, Marilyn and company!

By Ren Hill

Kenya Black

The babe with all the oomph and pizzazz is back with yet another show featuring female impersonators.

Sybil Barrington a.k.a. Miss Queen of Bermuda was last seen on stage with Patti LaBelle during this months Bermuda Music Festival.

She and several other girls from the US East Coast are now here for the latest Blow Pop Production.

This will be her second show at the City Hall Theatre.

The two showings, one at 6 p.m. and the other at 9 p.m., take place on Saturday night.

Of performer Ms Kenya Black, Sybil said: Shes a ravin beauty, honey!

It will always be a whole new cast and one of the highlights is that I am bringing in Marilyn Monroe.

Last year I noticed that the audience was so interracial that I said my performers have to be as well.

One of the girls is a Marilyn Monroe look-alike and the other one is a Cher. Those are the only two sneak previews that I am going to tell you about. Miss Barrington said the female impersonators will be sharing professional elements of themselves during the performance.

One is a nurse and Cher is a dentist, Sybil said.

But for the most part Miss Barrington promises that the shows will continue to get bigger and better.

Tickets for both productions can be bought at Shannons Boutique, $40 in advance and $45 at door. Telephone 292-5349.
